Been a while so thought it was time for an update.

Felt pretty motivated of late what with the fan base growing and several online radio/podcasts wanting to feature the EP, I'll keep you informed on broadcasts and feedback. First airing is Tuesday 16th on blogtalkradio. Vision radio in London will follow then the biggy called  "The Great Unknown Presents" towards the end of March, this has 50,000 plus subscribers so hoping to get some good exposure there followed by downloads.

I've been offered an opportunity to have my songs catalogued for film placements on HBO, NBC and the like along with movies in the US and I'll be spending Wednesday afternoon with a pro music lawyer to peruse the contract and get some guidance for earning revenue from my songs and an appraisal of my online strategy. Really do hope the song "Touch The Devil" will be shortlisted for the public vote to feature in an independent movie starring Danny Dyer titled "Jack Says" fingers crossed that the producers dig it hey!

Still need those all important download sales on i-Tunes and other leading download stores, this unfortunately is just a trickle and it seems I made the mistake of giving my music away free for far too long which in hindsight maybe devalued my music somewhat.

It Really is all a learning curve running my own label and releases but the hard work is starting to pay off and I'm talking or at least e-mailing with some big players in the independent music industry and getting some great advice.

When I say hate mail it appears my previous mail outs had pissed some people off and maybe I was rightly told so for going up my own arse a bit but what followed was an horendous personal attack on my character, friends and family. This threw me off track and I deleted many from my mailing list and started afresh with subscribers to my site and MyMusicStream page and now use a pro mail shot which is more personalised with an unsubscribe option, I like you hate spam so hopefully I've got it right this time. The vitriol messages have now ceased and I was close to taking action against the libellous comments. Instead I put my energy into my two beautiful little girls and got back on track endeavouring to market the music and earn a living from what I enjoy doing most.

I'm now being honest and seem to have a loyal somewhat smaller fan base following my progress and supporting the music and hopefully I'm not pissing anyone off.

I'm really enjoying the Facebook fan page and so appreciate those of you that have spread the word and left comments.

I do have some rough home demos of tracks for the new album so as a thank you just e-mail me if you'd like a FREE mp3 sent your way, all I'm asking is for your continued support and do download the songs you like. It all keeps me motivated and in the creative zone. People just saying hello on the guestbook is really welcomed too, I am intrigued to know where you are listening and what music is floating your boat at the moment. I think it's pretty obvious I live for music and it is a hard habit to kick.

Well that's about it for now and hopefully the momentum will keep flowing and I'll get to make that elusive great album this year with the time it merits and technical know how of a producer and give my music to the world. If all goes to plan I'd love to get an acoustic combo together and take the new album out on tour and share the vibe.

Ok pretty late here and I'm up in few hours with the girls and then out to the day job to pay this bloody mortgage and keep the dream alive.
