Well it's been a long time and as the title suggests I've been coping with a domestic hick up.

My family home had a burst water main and it seemed like "The Thames" was pumping into my flat for 8 hours solid. We've since been rehoused whilst waiting for the floor and walls to dry out.

This has kept me pretty busy chasing the insurance people, I've had somewhat a hiatus from the music but will be playing two shows in my original home town York to round off the year.

I guess I'll recharge over the Christmas break and attack 2011 full on with the focus on more shows and getting a live acoustic combo together, I'm sure the old fashioned way is the best route to promote the album.

Also plan to release "Birth, Death And In Between " on CD so as to have a product on sale at the gigs.

Been in discussion with trusted people who can assist with online marketing which will free me up more to work on a follow up album, I'm sure I'll use the same studio and production team in 2011.

As always I'm still looking for a good music publisher but as yet nothing that I would feel comfortable signing, I guess I'm somewhat wary of signing my songs to the wrong people again, I'm sure the right people are out there and will hear the potential of the album and future projects.

The acoustic gigs I've been playing in Clapham at "The Gypsy Club" have been wonderful to say the least and I now once again crave the live performance that I'd stopped doing for way too long, I guess it's been a question of the right time and also having a record that I'm really proud of, I feel complete as a singer songwriter and my creative future is once again exciting.

I'm improving and am released from a directionless muse and I intend to continue, succeed and enjoy what I do best.
